Features

• The naturally weather-resistant teak is smoothly sanded and may be oiled to preserve the warm look, or allowed to weather naturally to a beautiful silvery gray patina
• The teak plantation participates in a replenished forestry program, and plants 1 tree for each tree that is harvested
• A wire wheel is used to distress the reclaimed wood to enhance the grain and provide a rustic finish
• You may choose to allow your natural teak to weather to a beautiful silver-gray patina or treat it with an oil or sealer specifically made for natural teak twice a year to preserve the natural teak's golden finish
• Hardware is zinc-coated steel that has been plated in brass. The zinc helps minimize corrosion, steel was chosen for strength, and brass for its luster

Warranty

Forever Patio's warranty covers manufacturing defects; normal wear and tear is not included. With a little bit of care, your furniture will outlive the warranty for many years.

• Frame: The Forever Patio warranty covers teak wood outdoor patio furniture frames for 1 year
• Cushion: The Forever Patio's warranty covers cushions for 1 year
• Fabric: Sunbrella carries a 5-year warranty. Please refer to the warranty of Sunbrella fabrics as the manufacturer's warranty will apply

Care and Maintenance

Teak: Long-term, teak furniture develops a pleasing silvery gray patina, which is cosmetic and not an indication of dryness. Its natural oils help keep this hardwood strong and durable in a variety of environments, so there's very little maintenance. Because teak is very weather-resistant, it doesn't need to be stored during the winter or covered with protective tarps. However, covering teak furniture will protect the surface from elements such as hail, wind, and snow, which can cause cosmetic damage. To keep the original golden honey finish, apply a very thin layer of Linseed or Teak oil to your furniture 1-2 times a year, depending on exposure. Cleaning with teak cleaner is recommended every 2-3 years, along with the oil application.

Cushions & Outdoor Fabric: Regular cleaning with mild soap and water will help prevent the build-up of dirt, which can generate mildew. Simply spot-treat stains with mild soap and water, rinse, and allow the fabric to air dry. Cushions will dry much faster when removed from the frames and placed on their sides or edges. Covers & Storage: When not in use, we recommend using a protective cover with your furniture. During harsh weather and extreme temperatures, we recommend storing the cushions in a shed or garage and covering the frames with protective covers. If you store the frames indoors during the winter, avoid storing them upside down, which can trap moisture.
