Patio Productions began in 2006 as a tiny e-commerce drop-shipping company, dedicated to the simple goal of finding and selling high-quality outdoor furniture at mid-range prices - at the time, a glaring gap in the market. By 2009, we began designing and manufacturing our own products, and massively improved our catalog of custom furniture options. In 2011, we opened our first small brick-and-mortar retail showroom in San Diego. Today, our company boasts three main branches between two states, a huge warehouse in San Marcos, and the coolest retail store in San Diego down on Hancock Street.

Hello. I’m Ben born and raised on Earth. After living in 8 different places in the USA and internationally I found my way to San Diego, CA. I love the San Diego outdoor lifestyle, Mexican food and beaches. Most of my free time is spent playing with my daughter, wife and Golden retriever. And because I still have the travel bug we either pull our Airstream out for weekend camping trips or fly to more exotic lands whenever we can. My spirit animal is the wolf. I guess that is why I love the freedom of being my own boss! I never dreamed that when I started Patio Productions over a decade ago that I’d still be having so much fun creating this company with such an amazing team of people. We keep things fresh by taking a non-traditional approach to an otherwise very traditional business. This keeps me, my staff and our customers interested and engaged day in and day out

Todd
Co-Founder and CIO
I'm Todd, founding partner and CIO at Patio Productions. With over 20 years pioneering digital commerce in furniture (with 15 of those being in the outdoor living space), I help fuel Patio Productions growth with tech innovation and tried-and-true online retail savvy. I never fancied myself an entrepreneur, but opportunities unfolded at the dawn of e-commerce, in a furniture space that I found very interesting, and all those stars aligning were just too good to pass up! I've worked with massage chairs, memory foam mattresses, water fountains, and bathroom furniture, trying my hand at selling, buying, designing, and manufacturing in a variety of furniture niches. Finally, I leveraged my skills to rapidly scale a patio furniture website years ago which ultimately led to my co-founding Patio Productions in 2006. In my day to day I spearhead technology operations and some of our digital marketing strategy, but my favorite part of this job is going hands-on designing product shoot concepts and merchandising the website. When I find spare time to escape the office, you'll likely find me on a lake, wake surfing or hydrofoiling with friends and family.

Hey there, I’m Mike, the technical product manager and E-commerce lead here at Patio Productions. Basically, it's my job to make sure the website works well and that folks like you can find us when searching the wide open web! I manage our digital marketing, web development, and systems administration projects, and I am lead editor for our blog and store. Get a hold of me if you have questions about our website, our content, or our marketing efforts and promotions.
I've been working with Todd since late 2009, cutting my teeth on bathroom furniture and water fountain websites. I came onboard with Patio Productions in 2011 and have been here ever since, learning a lot about the furniture industry along the way. During my tenure I've worked side gigs as a freelance marketer and business analyst but Patio Productions will always feel like home. I'm originally from SoCal but currently living in Denver, Colorado with my wife, two kids, and rambunctious labrador retriever. I'd like to believe that my spirit animal is a bear but I think it's probably more likely a squirrel.

Hello, I'm Lynne. After a two month long adventurous trip across the country, heading west from the bitter cold of Milwaukee, WI, we found ourselves in San Diego. It was November and we were wearing shorts! We laughed and said “this is the place”. That was in 1998 and I am still here loving every minute. Creating a fun outdoor space to relax in has always been a priority for me because who doesn't enjoy being outside in this beautiful city? In my free time I enjoy going to art galleries, trying new recipes, reading a good book and hiking with my adorable dog Milo. My spirit animal is an otter.

Hi! I’m Alek and I was born in Tijuana, Mexico but moved to San Diego when I was 7 years old. I hate the cold so sunny San Diego is just the place for me, and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. I love all things related to music, especially the production side of things. I have experience in theater and concert production and my favorite concert to work in was Hans Zimmer at SDSU. Hi, I’m Mike. I was born and raised in the Detroit area, went to the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), and moved to San Diego in 1985 because of a job offer, and I’ve been here ever since. I’ve worked and lived abroad a few times, which I really enjoyed. I love to travel domestically, internationally, and going on cruises. But I always look forward to coming back home to beautiful San Diego. I enjoy going out to dinner and the theater with friends, going on long walks with my little fur baby, Kipa, and practicing yoga in a studio or at the beach. My spirit animal is the dolphin, because I am playful, adventurous and social. Also I love being in, on and near the water.
