How Sling Works

The construction is deceptively simple: aluminum frames — welded, powder-coated, fully rust-free — with the sling fabric attached under tension at both ends. That tension is what creates the support. Quality sling fabric is UV-treated to resist fading and resistant to mold and mildew, which means it performs indefinitely in outdoor exposure without degrading.

The breathability of sling fabric is a practical advantage in warm-weather settings. Air moves through the mesh, which keeps the seating surface cooler than solid materials in direct sun. It also means the fabric dries almost immediately after rain — a sling chair left out overnight in a rainstorm is ready to use the next morning.
