Ratana Bogota Collection
The Bogota Collection by Ratana takes its design cues from the cobbled streets and colonial architecture of Bogota, Colombia. There's a visual richness to the resin wicker weave and a sophistication in the proportions that places it above the typical outdoor wicker market. The frames are powder-coated aluminum, the weave is all-weather resin that holds color through UV exposure without fading or brittling, and the cushions are upholstered in fade-resistant outdoor fabric. It's full-exposure outdoor furniture that can just as easily pull double duty indoors.
The catalog spans both deep seating and dining. Sofa, club chair, ottoman, and modular sectional components (left arm, right arm, and corner sections) cover the conversation group; dining arm chairs, dining side chairs, and a large rectangular dining table round out the collection. Bogota is one of the more visually substantial collections in the outdoor wicker furniture category — not subtle, but not overdone. Ratana designs for residential and contract use, and Bogota holds up to either.
