Refined Ipe Frames with an Airy, Tapered Profile
Sky is a complete outdoor living collection from Jensen Outdoor — one of the few lines in the Jensen range that covers both deep seating and dining chairs under a single cohesive design. Designed by Chris and Jon Panichella at Achella Design, the collection gets its name from the lightness of its frame profiles: tapered Ipe members that carry structural rigidity without visual heaviness. The result is furniture that feels refined rather than substantial, even when it's a full sofa or a lounge chair built to last for decades.
All seven pieces, from the Sofa and Loveseat through the Lounge Chair, Swivel Rocker, and Ottoman to the Cushioned Dining Arm Chair and Dining Side Chair, are built from 100% FSC-certified Ipe timber. Jensen sources their Ipe from a managed Bolivian forestry operation spanning roughly two million acres. The silica-dense wood fiber resists water penetration, rot, and insects inherently, arriving chocolate brown and weathering naturally to silver over time. No chemical treatment required, no sealant schedule to maintain.
Because Sky includes dining chairs alongside its deep seating lineup, a single collection can furnish an outdoor living room and a dining area in matched Ipe timber. Pair the Sky dining chairs with a Jensen Foundations table for a complete dining set that stays within the same material story. Sunbrella cushion fabrics are standard across the collection, available in a broad palette of colors and patterns. Jensen backs Sky with a 5-year residential warranty, and all pieces ship fully assembled, free of charge, anywhere in the USA.
