Tables for Every Preference, Party, and Purpose
Foundations is the table collection within the Jensen Outdoor lineup — and the only one focused entirely on surfaces. Eighteen pieces span the full range: dining tables (including extension options), bistro tables, coffee tables, console tables, and side tables. The concept is deliberately expansive: one collection that pairs with any Jensen seating line, Ipe or Teak, whether you're furnishing a balcony bistro for two or a terrace that seats twelve.
Every table is built from FSC-certified timber sourced from Jensen's managed forestry operation in dry-tropical Bolivia, covering roughly two million acres. The Ipe wood options arrive chocolate brown and weather naturally to a distinguished silver patina over time. Silica-dense fibers make the wood inherently impervious to rot and insects, no chemical treatment required. Teak pieces bring honey-brown warmth with the same no-maintenance promise, protected by the wood's own high natural oil content.
Several dining tables include weighted umbrella holes as standard, a practical detail that becomes obvious the first time a coastal breeze picks up. The mosaic tile tabletop option adds a decorative dimension for buyers who want pattern and color worked into the table surface rather than just the cushions. Outdoor dining sets in the Jensen lineup typically draw their tables from Foundations — it's the connective tissue of the range.
All pieces ship fully assembled to anywhere in the USA, free of charge. If you're building out a multi-zone patio and want help matching tables to seating, the free design consultation is a good place to start.
