Fire Tables: A Fire Pit That Doubles as a Table

A fire table is built to do two jobs. Light it, and you've got a real fire pit centerpiece. Cover it with the matching lid, and the same piece becomes a usable dining, counter, or bar-height table — no fire pit taking up permanent real estate that only earns its keep after dark.

Our fire tables come primarily from Berlin Gardens, built from the same poly lumber construction as their standard outdoor furniture, in dining, counter, and bar heights across their Donoma, Garden Classic, and Numa lines. Most are available in both a standard and a hammered-top finish, and several ship as a dedicated fire pit (no table lid) if you'd rather keep it simple.

Frequently Asked Questions: Fire Tables

A fire table has a usable tabletop surface built around the flame. A standalone fire pit is just the fire feature. A fire table adds a flat surface wide enough to set drinks or plates on, and often a fitted lid that covers the burner completely so the whole top becomes a regular table when it's not lit.

Match it to how you'll seat people around it. Dining height (around 29-30") pairs with standard dining chairs for a full meal. Counter height (around 36") suits taller stools and a more casual gathering. Bar height (around 41-42") is the tallest option and works well for a standing or high-stool setup.

Our fire tables are built from HDPE poly lumber. It's the same weather-resistant material used across Berlin Gardens' regular furniture lines, so the table portion holds up the same way a poly lumber dining table would.

Propane is standard, with natural gas conversion available on many models. Check the individual product listing for the exact hookup options, since this can vary by size and line.

Yes — several of our fire table lines are also sold as a standalone fire pit. Look for the "Fire Pit" version of the same collection (Donoma or Numa, for example) if you want the fire feature without the table surface.
