Where We Think Jensen Can Improve

In the wood furniture industry, Jensen has always been regarded as one of the best IPE manufacturers. There is nothing more smooth than the texture of the wood. While many people like the product, others may have concerns like maintaining the wood. Ipe wood can go grey, just like teak, and it has to be properly maintained to prevent this. When it comes to low-maintenance outdoor furniture, Polywood, Berlin Gardens, or even Seaside Casual might be a better choice for those who don't want all the hassle of maintaining natural wood.

As an alternative to Jensen, Dua from our sales team recently recommended Polywood and Berlin Garden to one of our customers. In this customer’s case, the cost of the product and its maintenance needs were a little off-putting. The customer expressed interest in a dining table with a wood texture but also wanted it to be low maintenance and affordable. Since Jensen products tend to come with a higher cost due to their white glove delivery service, customers on a budget are recommended to consider Polywood as an alternative as they also have some wood texture options.
