Care and Maintenance

Cleaning your cushions on a regular basis will help prevent build-up of dirt, which can generate mildew. Dirt and dust can be brushed off, and stains can be spot cleaned with mild soap and water, rinse, and allow the fabric to air dry. Cushion covers zip off and can be machine washed and air dried, do not put in the dryer. For tougher stains, visit the fabric manufacturers website for additional recommendations. Tip: If your cushions are left out during a rainstorm, unzip and place the cushion on its side, zipper side down. This will allow the water to drain out quicker.

Cushion Colors and Options

All of our Sunbrella® cushions are made in California from comfortable high density foam wrapped in quick dry Dacron for added comfort. The Sunbrella® cushion covers all have zippers and can be removed for easy cleaning. Please refer to the fabric swatches for the most accurate representation. For more fabric options choose from over 100 Sunbrella® fabrics. For an additional charge you can even add welt/piping color for a truly custom look (welt is not an option for Quick Ship orders). 

What is a Welt Fabric?

Welt goes by several names. It can be called a welt trim, welt cord, welt piping, or simply welting. It is the decorative trim around the edges of a cushion to give the cushions a more finished look. A thin piece of cord or piping is wrapped in fabric and sewn to the seams of a cushion. It serves two primary functions. The first is functional, helping to strengthen and protect the seams of the cushion. The second is visual. Welt gives cushions a more finished look and emphasizes the shape of the cushion. Welt that matches the color of the cushion fabric is called a "matching" or "self" welt. Welt that is a different color than the color of the cushion fabric is called a "contrast" welt.

Adding a welt to a cushion is a custom process and may extend an order's lead time by 2 - 4 weeks. There may also be an additional charge for adding welt, which varies by manufacturer.

Then, Harmonia Living pairs their sturdy and affordable furniture with real Sunbrella-brand premium fabrics that are at the apex of the industry in terms of performance, comfort, and durability.

The company further innovated the manufacturing process by developing a system to produce fewer but longer wicker strands that are intricately woven together in unique and efficient patterns; the weave also negates the need to 'staple' the wicker to the frame, as is often the case with most major brands - leaving behind ugly metal protrusions in otherwise elegant wicker furniture.
